ITHACA, N.Y.—A fire has displaced residents of a home in the Fall Creek neighborhood.

The Ithaca Fire Department was called to a house on the 100 block of East Falls Street around 11 p.m. on Thursday night, where signs of fire were apparent at one of the homes. Responding firefighters reported that two people were home during the fire and that both made it outside safely.

Water, fire and smoke damages were reported at the residence, and responders stated that repairs will be necessary before any residents can return. The cause of the fire is unknown at the time. The Ithaca Fire Department is conducting an investigation.
