ITHACA, N.Y.—Work to repair a leaking water main at the intersection of North Meadow and West Buffalo Streets may lead to water service interruptions on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Repair work is scheduled from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, and individual households will be notified in-person if they will experience interruptions.

Additionally, the two center lanes of North Meadow Street (northbound New York State Route 13) will be closed from the West Seneca Street intersection to 150-feet north of the West Buffalo Street intersection.

Traffic delays along Meadow Street should be expected from the intersection of Elmira Road to the intersection of West Court Street.

The left lane of North Meadow Street will be available for northbound traffic and traffic turning left onto West Buffalo Street. The right lane will be available for traffic turning right onto West Buffalo Street.

Westbound West Buffalo Street will be closed between North Meadow and Washington Streets to through-traffic, and traffic eastbound on West Buffalo Street should cross Meadow Street.

Westbound traffic on West Buffalo Street planning to turn right onto North Meadow should turn right onto North Cayuga, Albany or Plain Streets, go one block north and then turn left onto West Court Street before taking it to North Meadow Street.
