TCAT will continue to operate on a reduced weekday schedule Mon., Nov. 7, through Fri., Nov.11, and will operate with the same route reductions that have been in effect over the past two weeks.

Staff and parts shortages have been requiring TCAT to reduce Mon.-Fri. service on a week-by-week basis since mid-October. TCAT each Friday is announcing schedules to give riders time to plan for the week ahead.

TCAT apologizes to riders for the inconvenience and is making every effort to restore service as soon as possible. The next weekday schedule will be announced Fri., Nov. 11. (Please note that TCAT will operate and administrative offices will be open on Veterans Day.)

As TCAT announced earlier, planners each week are balancing TCAT’s service capabilities with available staff and road-ready buses. In addition to a shortage of mechanics and drivers that are impacting transit agencies all over the country, international supply chain issues have delayed delivery of parts to maintain and repair buses.

While TCAT attempts to give adequate notice, riders should be aware that sudden or unforeseen circumstances can affect service. TCAT urges riders to consult TCAT’s Bus Tracker to check the status of their routes. The Bus Tracker also includes passenger alerts, which are also streamed on the red banner across TCAT’s home page. Riders are also encouraged to download real-time information apps, to include the Transit app, which is now connected to data platform creator, Swiftly. See TCAT’s app page for a list of apps available.
