ITHACA, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) responded to a reported robbery at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Aug. 31 near the Uptown Village Apartments in the Town of Ithaca.

The victim reported that an arranged meeting was set up to sell clothing items to an individual at the Philip R. Dankert Park on Uptown Road, and the victim stated that during the transaction, the suspect had brandished a firearm and demanded money and other belongings.

Two additional individuals forced their way into the victim’s vehicle to assist with the robbery, stealing several items and money before the three suspects fled on foot.

The victim provided a limited description of the suspect, stating that they were three black males.
