ITHACA, N.Y.—Paving for the Pedestrian Safety Action Plan will resume July 14, 2022, at the intersections of East State Street/MLK Jr. Street with Stewart Avenue and Eddy Street as well as at the intersections of North Cayuga Street with Tompkins and Lincoln Streets.

The majority of the remaining work is to replace traffic signals, and a single lane closure will occur for this to happen. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic, and drivers should expect delays in the area, though traffic will continue in all directions.

This portion of the work is expected to take about three weeks and finish on Aug. 11, though it is weather dependent. No detours will be in place.
