TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Board of Elections (BOE) is asking community members to sign up to be a paid poll worker for the primary election scheduled for June 28, 2022.

The BOE is in urgent need for poll workers who are not registered with a party, or are registered as an independent or republican. Additionally, there is a need for poll workers who are willing to travel outside of their regular polling area, specifically for the City of Ithaca.

Poll workers in the county will be paid $15.32 per hour.
