ITHACA, N.Y.—Ithaca police have arrested one person after a report of someone making threats at the McDonald’s on Elmira Road.

Police responded to a report of “a subject threatening people with a knife,” around 10:25 a.m. on Thursday.

“Investigation into the incident revealed that the defendant menaced an employee with a knife,” police claimed in a press release. “The defendant and victim have no previous relationship, and no one was injured in the incident.”

The suspect, Charles Stillwell, Jr., 50 years old of Ithaca, was charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

He was remanded to Tompkins County Jail after being arraigned.
