TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department is holding a COVID-19 Moderna booster vaccine clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, on the Commons at the Bernie Milton Pavilion as part of the Southside Community Center’s Juneteenth Celebration Health Fair.

The Moderna vaccine will be available as a first booster shot for anyone 18 and older who received initial Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech series at least five months prior or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months prior, or as a second booster for eligible individuals.

Adults 50 and older may receive a second booster if desired at least four months following the first booster dose, and adults 18 to 49 who received Johnson & Johnson vaccine as both the primary and booster doses may receive a second booster at least four months after their previous booster dose.
