“How are the Caregivers?” Day is a free community festival celebrating the voices of parents and caregivers. In this special full day program, Mama’s Comfort Camp Support Network (a nonprofit project of the Center for Transformative Action) is celebrating our 10th anniversary with a community call to action, urging individuals, elected officials, and institutions to recognize the question “How are the Caregivers?” as a cornerstone of how we make decisions and allocate resources. The programs of the day will include art, crafts, music, dance, poetry, and a comedy show of season 3 of “Motherhood is a Joke.” Please join us! We promise to move you, make you laugh, cry, laugh again, and dance in the street in celebration of caregivers!

Caregivers Day is an evolution of the “Listen to the Mothers Celebration”, our successful program at Firelight Camps on Mother’s Day 2021, This year we designed the event for accessibility and inclusion, creating a free festival in walkable downtown Ithaca
