On Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Coltivare in downtown Ithaca or via Zoom, a meeting is being held to voice input over how to best address transportation concerns in parts of Ithaca. It is being hosted by the Downtown Ithaca Alliance, Unbroken Promise Initiative, TCAT, the Center for Community Transportation, Southside Community Center and the City of Ithaca. There is also a Zoom option available at this link.
The intent of the meeting is to share information about a possible state grant opportunity to improve and enhance electric transportation options for underserved communities, particularly on West Hill, Southside, and in the Downtown/Flats areas.
Learn about this possible $7.0 million Electric Mobility grant opportunity available through NYSERDA. TCAT/Ithaca is one of six finalist communities—three NYS communities will win $7.0 million awards. Share information about your transportation needs and brainstorm about how a major grant can help transform our urban transportation service, particularly for underserved communities.
