ITHACA, N.Y.—Ithaca police have announced an arrest they made in a bank robbery that took place on Nov. 30, 2020.

Police said Napoleon Peterson was taken into custody on April 25, 2022, in New York City on an arrest warrant for third degree robbery. Peterson was already in the custody of the NYPD.

Ithaca police said Peterson allegedly robbed the M+T Bank on North Tioga Street in November 2020. For that charge, he was arraigned in Tompkins County Court after being brought back by Ithaca Police and released on his own recognizance.

Peterson is due back in court in May.
