ITHACA, N.Y.—A rehabilitation effort that began last May for sidewalks along Elmira Road from the south end of Ithaca to Old Elmira Road to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will be restarting March 28, 2022.

Traffic signals at the Spencer Road and Commercial Avenue intersection will be replaced, and single-lane closures will occur on the north and south sides intermittently. No detour will be established, though flaggers will direct traffic at the intersection.

The project is anticipated to take three weeks and the scheduled completion date is April 15, 2022, though it is subject to change as the work is weather-dependent.
