ITHACA, N.Y.—At approximately 2:49 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022, officers from the Ithaca Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 500 block of Cascadilla Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim injured as a result of the gunfire in the residence.

The victim was transported to a regional trauma center and recovery is expected.

The property sustained damage from the numerous rounds discharged, and currently, there is no known suspect description.
