ITHCA, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department is holding a series of COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics this coming weekend.
The Moderna clinic for ages 18 and up is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, and a Pfizer booster clinic for ages 12 and up from 2 to 4 p.m. the same day, both at the Shops at Ithaca Mall Vaccination Site. Registration for the Moderna clinic can be found here and registration for Pfizer here.
Requirements for a Moderna booster include 18+ and that the initial two-dose vaccine series was completed at least five months ago, or a single-dose vaccine at least two months ago.
Individuals receiving a Pfizer booster must be 12+ and have received their initial two-dose vaccine series at least five months ago or single-dose at least two months prior, and a parent or guardian must be present to give consent for the minor to receive the Pfizer booster.
Free TCAT transportation is available to the vaccination sites with proof of a scheduled appointment.
