The better I get to know Greg Mezey, the happier I am that he won the Democratic Primary for Tompkins County Legislature representing District 13! As the retiring District 13 Legislator, I know he’ll be a great advocate for western Dryden.
I urge you to vote across Row A on your ballot for Greg, along with the other dedicated Democrats now serving the town—Supervisor Jason Leifer, Town Councilmembers Dan Lamb and Leonardo Vargas-Mendez, and Highway Superintendent Rick Young. In eastern Dryden, District 14, please vote for Mike Lane, to keep representing the district he loves and serves so well!
Although Greg’s primary opponent, Samantha Lushtak, is still on the ballot on a different line, she said in June she accepts the primary results.
Greg is a local businessperson, another Cornell grad who couldn’t stay away! A member of the county’s Strategic Tourism Planning Board, he is especially concerned about restoring our vibrant tourism economy. Greg feels the same urgency I do about getting the county’s Community Recovery Fund up and running, to put some of the county’s fund balance to work to address urgent community needs.
Vote Row A, for Greg Mezey and all the Dryden rock stars who are moving our town forward!
Martha Robertson, outgoing Tompkins County Legislator
