ITHACA, N.Y.—Construction will take place beginning next week on the 100-400 blocks of Center Street and the 400 block of South Plain Street.

The project is projected to last from Oct. 4 to Oct. 12, and is aimed at replacing damaged or missing curb mills, repaving and asphalt restoration.

“Road closed to through traffic during work hours 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. No on-street parking,” states the city’s announcement. The 100-400 blocks of Center Street are from South Albany Street to North Titus Avenue.

The city is recommending using South Albany Street as a detour.
