ITHACA, N.Y.—Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in downtown Ithaca early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at 12:45 a.m. in the 200 block of West Green Street. Police claimed that two victims reported “three unknown male suspects in ski masks entered their residence and held them at gunpoint.”

According to police, the suspects then “ransacked the residence, stole cash and other items belonging to the victims.” There were no injuries reported to police in relation to the crime. No descriptions of the suspects were made immediately available by police.

IPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or with information to assist in the investigation. Any questions can be directed to the Office of the Chief of Police or the Criminal Investigations Division
