ITHACA, N.Y.—Construction crews will be working on Hector Street on June 2, repairing a manhole.

The road will be closed to one lane “around the repair area” for several hours on Wednesday, June 2. The work is being described as manhole frame and cover repair. It’s taking place at the bottom of Hector Street at the Floral Avenue Intersection.

Crews will be repairing the manhole frame to “prevent cover from rattling and lifting with traffic.”

On Wednesday, work is scheduled to stretch from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Flaggers will be in place to divert traffic.
