TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—It’s (primary) Decision Day in Tompkins County, as thousands of voters will flock to polling stations around the county to choose who will advance through the primary races for a variety of different offices.

The most significant of those are the Ithaca Common Council and the Tompkins County Legislature, which have accordingly grabbed the most headlines, but there are races in five other towns, including Groton, where the lone Republican primaries are being held.
