ITHACA, N.Y.—The second floor apartment shooting incident on Hudson Place on May 26 is still under investigation, but police have announced at least one arrest in connection with the situation.

Anthony Coyne, 24, of Ithaca, N.Y., has been placed under arrest and charged with first degree reckless endangerment, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence, and additional warrants for a third degree burglary charge.

According to the law enforcement narrative, Coyne was taken into custody around 12:30 p.m. on June 3 near the Seneca Street Parking Garage when police “located a male matching the shooter’s description.” Coyne’s identity was then verified.

The defendant was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on a $5,000/$10,000 bail.
