ITHACA, N.Y.—The City of Ithaca announced that the Ithaca Youth Bureau will now be open by appointment starting Monday, May 10. The bureau will have hours between 8-5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

Customers, participants and seasonal staff will all be able to enter the Youth Bureau building “to conduct business,” though appointments should be scheduled directly with the staff member that needs to be involved. Once someone arrives, the staff member should be contacted and they will allow the visitor inside.

The Youth Bureau has implemented protocols for visitors, including a mask requirement and a questionnaire that must be answered before someone enters regarding symptoms of COVID-19, international travel, close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 and any potential directions to self-isolate or quarantine from doctors.

More information is available on the Youth Bureau’s Facebook page.
