ITHACA, N.Y.—One person was found injured after police responded to a shooting at a hotel on Monday night.

Police said they responded to an unspecified hotel in the 400 block of South Meadow Street to a report of a shooting around 10 p.m. the night of March 1. They began to search the area for victims, evidence and suspects, finding only one victim who had been shot. Officers administered care at the scene, according to their press release, and the victim was transported to a regional trauma center.

Other details about the circumstances of the shooting or any suspects were not released.
