TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department has reported two more deaths from COVID-19, one of which occurred at an unidentified nursing home in the county.
The health department stated that the other person who died was a resident of Tompkins County, but did not provide any further identification or details. There have now been 25 total deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
The health department extended its condolences to those connected to the person who died.
The number of active cases in the county has fallen precipitously over the last several days, now sitting at 204.
