ITHACA, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department has issued a public health alert regarding a potential COVID-19 exposure that took place at Lowe’s Home Improvement and on a TCAT Route in the past week in Ithaca.

A Lowe’s employee tested positive after working on the following dates. They are now in isolation.

Sunday, Jan. 24, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 25, 5:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 26, 5:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 27, 5:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 29, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, someone else who tested positive rode a TCAT bus on Saturday, Jan. 30 on route 15. That exposure occurred as follows:

Jan. 30: Outbound at 3:20 p.m. at Seneca Street Station, disembarked at Meadow at Ithaca Shopping Plaza at 3:30 p.m.

Anyone who was at the preceding places during the listed times is advised to follow the guidance on the Public Exposure page provided by the Health Department.
