ITHACA, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department has issued a potential public COVID-19 exposure alert for Red’s Place on North Aurora Street in Ithaca on Restaurant Row. The situation stems from someone who worked at Red’s before testing positive for coronavirus, meaning their shift took place during their potentially infectious period.
The shift took place on Saturday, Jan. 9 from 5-9 p.m. The worker who tested positive is in isolation. Those who were at Red’s Place at that time should follow the health department’s guidance on its website.
There is also an updating list of all the public exposures throughout the pandemic posted online.
