ITHACA, N.Y.—The Tompkins County Health Department’s most recent public exposure alert deals with the Ithaca Walmart, where someone worked three shifts last week during their potentially infectious period.

The employee tested positive after their shifts. They are now in isolation. The shifts took place at the following times:

  • Saturday, January 9, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday, January 12, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday, January 13, 8:00am – 9:00am

Anyone who was at the Walmart during those times is encouraged to seek testing and follow the guidance listed on the health department’s public exposure page.

A comprehensive list of exposures since the beginning of the pandemic is available here.
