ITHACA, N.Y.—The City of Ithaca will be reducing traffic to one lane near the intersection of Chestnut and Elm Streets in Ithaca in order to provide room for construction crews repairing a ruptured water main.

The construction started at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, and is scheduled to conclude at 3 p.m. the same day. Businesses or residences in the area could potentially experience a disruption of water service for some period of time.

For people who want additional information, contact Matt Sledjeski or Scott Gibson from the Ithaca Water and Sewer Division at (607) 272-1717.
