ITHACA, N.Y. –– The Ithaca Police Department is searching for suspects after a report was made of an elderly woman being robbed in the parking lot of Kohl’s Thursday afternoon.

The victim –– an elderly woman –– was getting out of a vehicle when two male suspects ran up and stole her purse. The suspects then fled with the purse in an older model full-size grey or silver Chevrolet sedan driven by a white female.

The female driver was described as 20 to 30 years old, thin, with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspects were both described as at least 6 feet tall, thin, “scruffy-looking” white males. One male suspect was wearing a bright multi-colored head covering and blue jeans.
