LANSING, N.Y. –– A woman was arrested last month after giving large unapproved discounts at the Lansing Target.
New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Mina M. Ferris, age 21 of Willseyville, N.Y. for grand larceny in the third degree and falsifying business records in the first degree after she made several large markdowns and significantly discounted merchandise while working as a cashier at Target.
An investigation by law enforcement found that Ferris lost the store over $7,800.
A criminal summons was issued by the town of Lansing court and Ferris responded to state police headquarters on July 27 where she was arrested.
Ferris is scheduled to appear in the town of Lansing court in August.
