ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a shooting that was suspected to have occurred over the weekend in Downtown Ithaca.
The IPD was notified of an individual with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound who arrived at Cayuga Medical Center at 9:17 p.m. on June 27. At the time of the incident, the victim was not cooperating with the IPD. The IPD suspects that the incident occurred on Corn Street.
Chief of Police Dennis Nayor said there have been no updates since Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.
