ITHACA, N.Y. –– The pandemic has challenged us to do things differently this year, yet the spirit of our event remains the same.

The Walk & Run is an important and essential fundraiser. It’s also a celebration of the resilience of people facing cancer as well as a memorial to the many people we’ve served who are no longer with us.

Registration is $30 until July 3 at noon –– after that it is $50. Go to give.crcfl.net/walkrun to register, donate, and/or fundraise.

“The amazing thing about doing a virtual event is the flexibility folks have to participate, says Jyl Dowd, event coordinator for the Cancer Resource Center. “Normally, we’d have a huge event at Cass Park in October. Even though that won’t happen, we are really excited about this Virtual Walk & Run and its ability to bring folks together no matter where they live. Anyone can join in the fun from anywhere!”
