Dear Democratic Voters,

I support Seph Murtagh for State Assembly and here is why: As my common council representative for Ward 2, Seph has shown time and time again that he is an advocate for his constituents.

I live near Wood Street skate park. A couple of years ago a friend said there was racist graffiti all over the skate park. I got in touch with Seph and the Mayor and within hours they were there with a group of people painting over the graffiti. Then there was the time during a bad snowstorm that Seph came with friends and shoveled out my car!

I’m not the only one. There are many more stories from my neighbors. Seph’s experience extends beyond our ward, as recent interviews with Seph show his deep knowledge of Tompkins and Cortland Counties.

There is no one more worthy to be successor to the Assembly seat held by Connie Cook, Marty Luster and Barbara Lifton.

I urge you to vote for Seph on June 23.
