ITHACA, N.Y. — A storm sewer beneath Elm Street collapsed Monday, triggering at least two months of emergency construction.
The block will remain closed to traffic for the duration of construction. Vehicles can route around the construction area via Hector Street, Sunrise Road, and Chestnut Street, according to a release from the city.
