ITHACA, N.Y. — Local police are investigating a reported bomb threat at Tompkins Financial on East Seneca Street in Downtown Ithaca.
The threat was reported at about 1:23 p.m. Friday, March 15. At about 2:30 p.m., officers from the Ithaca Police Department and Cornell University Police were on scene, some with K-9s. Employees have evacuated the building.
Ithaca Police Officer Jamie Williamson had few details yet but said officers are continuing to investigate.
A similar bomb threat was reported about two weeks ago to Tompkins Financial. After that threat, police reported they found nothing suspicious.
