UPDATE (10 a.m. Friday) – The 200 block of Linden Avenue, from Dryden Road to Bool Street, reopened Friday morning but will close again 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. Sewer service work on the block has been rescheduled.

Water and sewer service installation work began Wednesday, Jan. 16 and was expected to finish Friday, Jan. 18.

Sewer service installation work has been rescheduled, however. Sewer work will take place from 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 until about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23.

The detour below will be back in effect Tuesday and Wednesday.

ITHACA, N.Y. – The 200 block of Linden Avenue, from Dryden Road to Bool Street, will be closed through Friday afternoon while crews work to install new water and sewer services.

Work began at about 7 a.m. Wednesday and is expected to finish around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Collegetown traffic will be re-routed.

Detour: Westbound traffic on Dryden Road intending to head south onto Linden will be detoured south onto College Avenue and then east onto Bool Street. Eastbound traffic on Dryden Road intending to head south onto Linden will be directed south onto Delaware Ave, then west onto Mitchell Street, then north onto College Avenue, then east onto Bool Street.
