ENFIELD, N.Y. – Candidates for Tompkins County Sheriff will take the stage at 7 p.m. tonight for a final forum before Tuesday’s election. The event will be held at the Enfield Grange, at 178 Enfield Main Road.

Retired Undersheriff Derek Obsorne will be on the ballot on the Democratic party line, having won the Sept. 13 Democratic primary with 61 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Sheriff Ken Lansing, who won 39 percent of ballots in the Democratic primary, is running on the Independence line.

Independent candidate Josh Brokaw, a journalist, is running on the TruthSayers line.

Carol Baker, Enfield Valley Grange Master, will moderate the discussion. Audience members will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
