ITHACA, N.Y. — On Friday November 2, 2018 from 5-9pm, Ithaca Coffee Company’s Tavern at Gateway (located in the Gateway Commons, 311 E. Green St., Ithaca NY) will showcase work on loan from the Memory Maker Project, featuring the artwork of local people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of memory loss in honor of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. The event is part of the Downtown Ithaca Alliance’s Gallery night Ithaca, a walkable tour of art openings in downtown Ithaca.
Information regarding the art and artists will be available, as well as prints for purchase. Attendees will also be able to purchase coffee and espresso drinks, baked goods, beer, wine, and other house-made foods from Ithaca Coffee Company while enjoying the artwork and conversation.
The Memory Maker Project is a small grassroots program offering art, culture and advocacy opportunities for people living with memory loss and their loved ones in the Southern Tier.
