ITHACA, N.Y. — This Saturday, bring the family to the Ellis Hollow Nursery School Children’s Halloween Party where there will be music, balloons, arts and crafts, pumpkin painting, and other activities. Proceeds from the event support the nursery school.

The Halloween party will go from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Ellis Hollow Community Center, locate at 111 Genung Rd, Ithaca. There is a $5 suggested donation for the family entrance fee, which includes full access to all of the events.

The event will help raise funds for Ellis Hollow Nursery School, which “provides a loving atmosphere for children ages 3 through 5 to grow and learn,” their website states.

Local musician John Simon will perform from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Amazing Pete’s Balloons will create balloon magic from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Throughout the party, there will be Halloween-themed arts and crafts like pumpkin painting. There will also be a raffle, with tickets available to purchase at the event.

There will also be plenty of food to snack on, like sweet treats, chili (both meat and vegetarian), macaroni and cheese and cider for sale.

Armitage Photography will also be shooting professional family shots for free at their fall-themed photo booth.
