LANSING, N.Y. — While on patrol shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday on East Shore Drive in Lansing, deputies from the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office spotted a man pulled over to the side of the road who appeared to be passed out.

Deputies say after speaking with the driver, they learned there were narcotics in the truck. The sheriff’s office said deputies then searched the vehicle and found narcotics including psilocybin mushrooms and ecstasy pills.

The sheriff’s office identified Adrian E. Walker, 37, of Addison, as the driver. Walker was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance – hallucinogen, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

According to court records, Walker had two ecstasy pills that were found inside a handbag in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Walker also possessed 25 milligrams or more of the hallucinogen dried mushrooms, records state.
