LANSING, N.Y. — The McDonald’s on North Triphammer Road in Lansing was robbed by two armed suspects early Tuesday. The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
At about 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, two people entered the McDonald’s and demanded money while displaying handguns, the sheriff’s office said. The two suspects then exited the restaurant “with an unknown amount of cash” and fled the area.

No employees were injured during the incident.
Cayuga Heights Police assisted at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
