ITHACA, NY. — With the primary election coming up June 26, local residents have one more chance to hear from the five Democratic candidates running for Congress.

The League of Women Voters is hosting a forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Space at Greenstar, 700 W. Buffalo St., Ithaca.

Voters will hear from Linda Andrei, Max Della Pia, Ian Golden, Tracy Mitrano and Eddie Sundquist, all running for New York’s 23rd Congressional District.

At a previous forum, the candidates discussed job creation, gun regulation, the opioid crisis and other issues. The forum Thursday will be the last chance to hear from candidates all in one place in Tompkins County before the primary June 26.

The event is free and open to the public.
