ITHACA, N.Y. — Here’s a look at Buttermilk Falls after the recent winter thaw, and Monday night’s rain.

Although no onlookers appear in the video, there were several groups of people walking through the park, taking pictures, and similarly navigating the icy perimeter of the base of the the falls. A jogger even passed by on their way to the trails.

Rush hour traffic began to pick up (the sound coalescing with that of the falling water), and a swiftly approaching downpour seemed to have surely halted any further filming. But, moments later, the sky cleared in time for a glimpse at the glowing twilight.
