ITHACA, N.Y. — A bicyclist was hit by a City of Ithaca truck at an intersection Thursday morning, police said.

The crash happened at the intersection of Third and Madison streets, Sgt. Barry Banfield, with the Ithaca Police Department, said. The pedestrian was conscious and reported having injuries when transported to a hospital in a Bangs Ambulance.

The IPD crash reconstruction team was still at the scene investigating the incident at 3 p.m., and the roadway remains closed. Banfield said no fault has been determined, yet.
