LANSING, N.Y. — Two Tompkins County legislators will be squaring off Wednesday night in a debate happening in Lansing.
Incumbent Mike Sigler, R, is vying for his third term as District 6 representative. Democrat Michael Koplinka-Loehr is running against him, hoping to make a return to politics after previously serving 12 years on the legislature from 1998-2009.
The two will debate from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lansing Community Center, located at 29 Auburn Road. Doors open at 6:10 p.m.
The debate is being hosted by The Lansing Star and questions can be asked during the debate or be submitted here.
Correction: Mike Sigler has served two terms on legislature, not one as originally reported.
