ITHACA, N.Y. — Police are looking for three men they say robbed an apartment at gunpoint early Friday morning near Ithaca College.

Police responded around 2:30 a.m. to an apartment in the 200 block of Coddington Road after the incident, according to a news release from Ithaca College. A resident said cash and items were taken from the home.

The suspects are described as the following:

  • A light-skinned black male, approximately 21 years of age, 6’3”­-­6’4” tall, with a skinny build and a crew cut.
  • A dark-skinned black male, approximately 25-26 years of age, 6’3”-6’4” tall, with an athletic build and a crew cut.
  • A light-skinned black male, approximately 24 years of age, 5’11” tall, with an average build and hair a little longer than a crew cut.

As of Monday afternoon, nobody new has been booked on robbery charges at the Tompkins County Jail. It’s unclear if the resident knew the robbers or if it was a random incident.

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department hasn’t released any details about the crime and has not returned request for comment.
