ITHACA, N.Y. — The Labor Day holiday will delay curbside recycling and trash pickup.

The Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management and Recycling & Solid Waste Center will be closed Monday for Labor Day.

There will be no curbside recycling collection Monday. Instead, pick-up will take place one day later for the rest of the holiday week. So, if scheduled recycling pickup is typically on Monday, it will be picked up on Tuesday and so on.

Trash pickup will also be delayed for a day in the City of Ithaca.
