TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. — Felicia’s Hive 45 is reopening next week as Felicia’s Atomic Brewhouse and Bakery.
The brewhouse will officially re-open Thursday at 45 East Main Street in Trumansburg.
The owners, Amelia Sauter and Leah Houghtaling, received their brewing license in May and released their first beers in early July. The recently renovated space will feature an in-house brew room and fermenting area located off the second dining room and a beer garden in the back next to the gorge.
Atomic Brewhouse will be a nano brewery with small-batch beers. There will be up to six beers on tap at a time. Current offerings include an IPA, summer blonde and old-style English stout.
In a news release, Sauter said nothing will be “obnoxiously hopped.”
Growlers will be available in the fall. Kegs are not currently available, but it may be a possibility in the future, owners said.
Felicia’s will still offer cupcakes, desserts and drinks during all open hours. They will continue to have dinner Thursdays through Saturdays, lunch on Saturdays and brunch on Sundays. Sauter said the food style is “comfort food with a twist.” Diners will find items like homemade pot pies, pizza, meatball grinders and a beet-and-bean burger. There are also vegan and gluten free options on the menu.
Now that they have a full liquor license, the owners said some “well-loved” cocktails are back on the menu, like the Ninjarita, the Mojito and Spiked Lavender Lemonade.
“Old-time musicians” will continue to play in the dining room most Fridays, and new art shows will be hung quarterly.
Felicia’s will be closed during the Grassroots Festival and will re-open July 27. Friendly dogs are welcome in the beer garden.
