ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Voice is celebrating its 3rd birthday and were are inviting all of our readers to a pig roast at Lot 10 to celebrate the occasion.
Like our content, the food, fixings and admission to our beach-themed party are free.
At our annual party, we invite readers and supporters out to eat, drink, mingle and be merry to kick off another year of independent local media.
This year Luna Street Food is making sure we have not only a roast pig for the occasion, but all the sides, including Gouda macaroni and cheese, a sweet potato and kale mix, and more.
The Ithaca Bakery, located at 400 N. Meadow St., is offering up a beach-themed cake for the occasion.
And Lot 10 has provided the space to The Ithaca Voice free of charge. There will also be drink specials for the occasion. If you’ve never been to Lot 10, you should know there is an outdoor Beer Garden where the pig will be roasted for several hours leading up to party.
The party is happening from 5:30 p.m. this Friday (June 9) at Lot 10, which is located at 106 S. Cayuga St.
It is not lost on us at The Ithaca Voice that we are only successful because of the support we receive all year from local businesses and readers.
Don’t forget that you can still vote for our next in-depth series until the party by clicking here and if you’d like to make a donation to The Voice to fund the series, click here. It’s also not too late to tell us what you think of us in our readership survey here.
Thank you, and we hope to see you this Friday.
