ITHACA, N.Y. — On Sunday, hundreds of people took to the streets in Ithaca for blocks of dancing, riding, and fun during the 10th edition of Streets Alive.
During the bi-annual event, streets are closed off to vehicles and people reclaim the roadways as a public open space.
Bike Walk Tompkins is the lead organizer of the event and advocates for more pedestrian-friendly access throughout the county year-round.
The next Streets Alive is scheduled to take place in September.
