ITHACA, N.Y. — Police executed narcotics search warrants early Tuesday morning at two locations on the west side of Ithaca, allegedly turning up “drug paraphernalia and other items indicative of narcotics sales.”
Police said the warrants were issued around 5 a.m. at a home on the 400 block of Wood Street and a unit at 141 Chestnut Street Apartments.
Two people were taken into custody during the search, though nobody is currently facing charges as of Tuesday morning.
The Ithaca Police Department SWAT Team, Ithaca Police Department Investigations Division, and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene.
This is a developing story.
